Truck Day!

It’s one of my favorite traditions in baseball today, the day when the equipment truck leaves from Boston and begins the journey down to Fort Meyers. It’s cheesy, but it really means that the long
winter is almost over. After all, the year really only has two seasons: baseball and hot-stove. And as much as I love hot stove, it’s not baseball.

For now though, the Bruins are tearing it up, with another win last night in a shootout over the Senators. And the Celtics, despite getting jobbed by the Lakers and the refs last night, are still one of the best teams in the NBA. So it’s not like there’s nothing to do. But let’s be honest: When Spring Training starts, it’s like you can see the light at the end of the tunnel (Even though Spring doesn’t really start until Opening Day or The Masters, depending on the weather, it’s still nice to be almost out.)

  1. I swear they use the same picture every year. But yes, bring on the baseball!
